Organic Buckwheat Pillow Quality

How We Make A High Quality L-OMA Organic Buckwheat Pillow™

First and foremost, we use high quality, organic buckwheat hulls in our organic buckwheat pillows. We are determined to use only the finest material when making our organic buckwheat hull pillows. Unlike some of our competitors, our organic buckwheat hulls are non-fumigated and are the finest available on the market. After extensive research, we found an old, established company that specializes in organic buckwheat.

Additional Benefits of a L-OMA Buckwheat Pillow™

We provide a hint of lavender or balsam aromatherapy if desired. You may also choose to receive the aromatherapy mix-in “on the side” so you may use the amount you prefer.

We have had NO cases of any allergic reaction to buckwheat hulls ever reported for our L-OMA buckwheat pillow™.

The organic buckwheat hulls and aromatherapy are encased in a zippered, 300, 400 or 500 premium thread percale cotton case

Organic Buckwheat Pillow Care Instructions

Using a Pillow-Case

In order to maximize the benefits of our organic buckwheat pillows, we highly recommend using your own pillowcase that you have at home over our pillow giving you 3 layers of protection of your buckwheat. A L-OMA organic buckwheat pillow™ is intended to be used with your own favorite pillow case or you can purchase a pillowcase from us.

Cleaning Your Pillow

Buckwheat should Not get wet! To maximize the benefits of your buckwheat pillow simply empty your buckwheat into a container. Wash cases in warm water with a mild liquid detergent. Do not bleach! Tumble dry or air dry. If your inside pillowcase is brown, this is totally normal. If it does not wash out this is also normal your case is still usable. Put pillow back together using inner, outer and your own case.

Simply empty the organic buckwheat hulls from the inner case of the organic buckwheat pillow into a container and place the inner case inside out in your washing machine in warm water, or washed by hand. Dry on low setting or hang dry.

Blanket Care

Care of your L-oma weighted therapy blanket couldn’t be easier: our blankets are made with tubes filled with buckwheat hulls, which slide out of the Velcro-secured pockets, allowing for easy laundering of your blanket, but DO NOT wash the tubes themselves.  Once you’ve removed the tubes, the blankets can be put in the washing machine or washed by hand.
