Pillow Quality & Care

How We Make Our High Quality Organic Buckwheat Pillows

First and foremost, we use high quality, organic buckwheat hulls in our pillows.  We are determined to use only the finest material when making our buckwheat hull pillows. Our buckwheat hulls are the finest available on the market. After extensive research, we found an old, established company that specializes in buckwheat. To the buckwheat, we have added a hint of lavender for the soothing quality of the aroma. (Pillows are available without lavender by special order.) All this is encased in a zippered, 240-thread percale cotton case.

L-OMA Organic Buckwheat Hull PillowsYou may hear Organic Buckwheat Pillows referred to as: buckwheat pillows, buckwheat hull pillows, buckwheat husk pillows, husk pillows, or even by our company brand name L-OMA Organic Buckwheat Pillows. Our pillows have also been remembered as buckwheat loma pillows. Regardless of what you call it, they’re all the same type of pillow. However, not all Organic Buckwheat Pillows are created equal. Some manufacturers do not use the highest quality buckwheat hulls in their pillows.

Care of the L-OMA Organic Buckwheat Pillow

Our pillows are intended to be used with your own favorite color pillow case. Use without a pillowcase is discouraged in order to maximize the benefits of their use. These pillows are washable in warm water and a mild detergent but no bleach. Simply empty the buckwheat hulls into a container and place the case inside out in your washing machine. They should be air dried or tumble dried on the cool cycle.
Our intention is to provide our customers with a very comfortable, quality product and satisfaction is guaranteed. Do your friends a favor and tell them how much you enjoy your Organic Buckwheat Pillow by L-OMA.
